RunwayCal

Multi-location financial planning

See every location. Understand the whole business.

Give each location its own financial context, then bring the locations into one combined view for leadership. RunwayCal's parent and child organization structure keeps local questions visible while the business looks at cash, runway, burn, and planning coverage together.

Each lane remains identifiable after the views come together. This is a conceptual explanation, not product UI.

Chapter 01

Each location creates its own financial reality.

Revenue can arrive at a different pace. Payroll, tools, and commitments can create different pressure. Cash and runway can tell a different story from one location to the next.

A group total matters, but it does not answer every operating question. Leadership still needs to know where a change began and which local assumption deserves attention.

Same planning language. Separate operating context.

Chapter 02

A combined number should not erase where it came from.

Multi-location finance is not a stack of unrelated client accounts. It is one operating business with locations or entities that need to be understood separately and together.

RunwayCal models that relationship with a parent organization and connected child organizations. A location can be opened for its own context, while the parent view keeps the group picture in reach.

Chapter 03

Bring the locations together without flattening them.

Consolidated Mission Control is built for a parent organization and its locations. It combines supported financial signals and keeps an entity health view available for location-level review.

Monetary totals require the locations to use the same currency. When currencies differ, the product does not convert and blend those amounts. That limit protects the combined picture from a false total.

Chapter 04

Put the combined position into Mission Control.

The consolidated view can bring together supported cash, burn, runway, headcount, active deals, and planning coverage. Location cards keep the route back to an individual organization visible.

This capability is available on Growth and above. A genuine parent and child product state is required before the website can show it as screenshot evidence.

Chapter 05

See where the pressure differs.

The whole-business number is a starting point for review. The next question is what changed underneath it. That may mean opening a location, checking its runway, or reviewing the inputs behind a movement.

RunwayCal provides the context. Leadership still decides what deserves investigation and what action follows.

Questions for a group-level review
01

Which location changed the combined picture?

02

Where is cash or runway pressure building?

03

What needs a local review before a group decision?

Difference → investigation → group decision

Chapter 06

Make the group decision with local context intact.

A hiring plan, new commitment, expansion decision, or change in spend can affect locations differently. Keep the local financial reality visible while testing what the decision asks of the business as a whole.

Continue into Scenario Planning to test an alternative, Budget vs Actual to understand a movement, or Cash Flow to review decision room.

Chapter 07

Carry the combined picture into the board conversation.

A parent organization can export a consolidated board deck on demand. The output includes a group summary and location-level context, so the conversation can move between the whole business and the places that shaped it.

The deck is generated when requested. This page does not imply automatic distribution or a fixed slide count for every group.
