These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RunwayCal's website, products, and services (“Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Use of service
RunwayCal provides a financial operating system designed for startup founders. The Services include runway calculation, burn rate tracking, scenario modeling, and related financial tools.
You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services does not violate any law or regulation applicable to you.
RunwayCal provides financial tools and computations, not financial advice. The outputs of the Services are based on the data you provide and should not be treated as professional financial, legal, or tax advice.
Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up-to-date. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Payments
Certain features of RunwayCal require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our pricing page.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period following the notice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or their related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Services
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written consent
Intellectual property
RunwayCal and its content, features, and functionality are owned by RunwayCal and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your use of the Services does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Services or their content. You retain ownership of the data you provide to the Services.
Limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunwayCal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe that your use poses a risk to the Services or other users.
Upon termination, your right to access the Services will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
